Trumpet and Flugelhorn Lessons

Studying trumpet with our Co-Director, Jazz Orchestra Director, and jazz artist, Benje Daneman combines the intellectual knowledge of playing with the heart and soul of creating a beautiful sound. You will learn solid brass technique for trumpet (or flugelhorn) and study improvisation through transcription and jazz theory.

Trumpet students get access to our Saturday Morning Open Studio times where they can work on playing with others at their own pace. Tuition also includes the all important monthly Student/Faculty Jam Session in which horn players are coached on jam session etiquette and play with a full band.
